I'm still thinking about what to put here, to say about this book and the long, fun process of making it... I'm very proud of this 5 year long project and the collaboration with Chronicle Books that got it onto shelves.

 

In fact, I loved all the collaboration the book called for. From creating that beginning list of "things" with my best friend's encouragement and input, to having my sisters proofread and throw in ideas when I needed extra brain power. From allowing publishers and editors to teach me how to make a sellable product, to  using interesting people around me to base characters off of.

Making this book helped me realise how supported I am, I hope those who read it get nice things out of it too.
